MLK Day of Service
On January 21st, MLK Day of Service, Sprinkle of Hope had its second jar packing! It was the perfect day to have this event, as it is not only a winter holiday that’s about hope and progress, but also a holiday celebrating loving each other. Having the Sprinkle of Hope packing on this day was an inspirational and impactful tribute. At Sprinkle of Hope, we believe MLK Day is a "day on, not a day off." MLK Day of Service reflects Dr. King's vision of a Beloved Community. 48 Winter Jars were packed in total thanks to all of the friends and family, our Beloved Community, who came to assemble these Hope Jars. The Winter Jar includes many necessities to help the clients at Westside Family Health Center get through the cold winter season. Just like Martin Luther King, Jr., Sprinkle of Hope is "making the world a better place one sprinkle of hope at a time."
